Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

High pressure near the Atlantic coast today will provide a nice day around southeast Michigan before giving away control by Saturday. The next low pressure system will pull a cold front through the area Saturday afternoon and evening. Warmer and more humid air ahead of the front will fuel a pattern of showers and thunderstorms as the front moves through the region. After a lingering chance of showers Sunday, cooler and less humid air will return with high pressure to start next week.
