Huge changes are ahead tonight and Thursday! The rest of today will be mild, damp, with areas of fog, some dense especially north of I-80. Some spotty light rain is also possible, as temperatures hold in the 40s and 50s. Late this afternoon and tonight a strong cold front will move through the area, with temperatures crashing to the teens and overnight. It will remain very cold through the weekend, with a chance of snow by late Sunday. Temperatures will only top out in the teens and 20s each day, with lows in the single digits to lower teens. Wind chills at night are likely to fall below zero in many locations. There are signs that light accumulating snow will affect the area Sunday and Sunday night.
