Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

A quick moving winter system will brush past eastern Kansas and Missouri late tonight through Wednesday morning. This will likely bring light snow with minor accumulations to parts of northern and eastern Missouri. Accumulations will be highest in north central and northeast Missouri with amounts around one inch possible; farther south and west snowfall totals will quickly drop off with a trace to a few tenths of an inch possible across Kansas City. Temperatures will stay cool through the Thursday, but should then begin to moderate back up into the 50s for the end of the work week and beginning of the weekend.
