Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

The storm system which brought us our rain today is moving out and the rain will be ending from west to east this evening. However, we won't be totally out of the woods since this system will linger through Tuesday and part of it will wrap back into the region. This will bring a chance of snow to northwest Missouri and northeastern Kansas Tuesday evening with the threat pushing southeast across the rest of the forecast area during the night. Light accumulations will be possible with the greatest accumulations up to an inch possible across northwestern Missouri by early Wednesday morning.
