A strong cold front will move through the region today, with rain changing to snow behind the front. Accumulations of an inch or two will be possible. It will also be windy behind the front, with north winds increasing to 20 to 30 mph with higher gusts. The system will wind down tonight, with snow ending from west to east and winds gradually diminishing. Tuesday will be mostly sunny and breezy. Temperatures will be below normal today and near normal on Wednesday.
