This afternoon...a cold front will develop over Western Kansas. Moving east southeast...the front will surge through Central & South-Central Kansas this evening...then through Southeast Kansas Tuesday Morning. Numerous showers & embedded thunderstorms will develop in the areas indicated with the best chances of thunderstorms occurring over North-Central...Northeast and Southeast Kansas as well as the adjacent areas of Western Missouri and Northeast Oklahoma. With colder air spreading southeast from the Northern Rockies...the rain will change to snow in Northwest Kansas and Western Nebraska. The weather over the Thanksgiving holiday will be excellent as mostly sunny skies team with west to northwest winds around 10 mph to boost temperatures to around 50 degrees in most areas.
