Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

Clouds will be on the increase today as a weather system approaches our area from the west. Rain chances will increase over the entire area on Thursday into Thursday evening as a cold front pushes through the Midwest. Dry weather will return for Friday and most of Saturday before the weather pattern becomes more active across the region. A slow moving upper low will dominate the weather over a large portion of the central U.S. starting late Saturday night with shower and thunderstorm chances continuing into a good portion of next week.
