A cold front will push southeast across the region today producing scattered showers out ahead of it. The showers are expected to move into northeast Missouri and west central Illinois this morning. Rain chances will spread southeast through the day and should exit southeast Missouri and southwest Illinois by this evening. Today should be warmer than yesterday due to a stiff southerly breeze that will help push high temperatures into the 50s and low 60s by this afternoon. The warming trend is forecast to continue through Wednesday when most locations will experience high temperatures in the 70s.
