A storm system will bring rain to northeast and central Missouri late tonight, then to the rest of the bi-state region on Tuesday. Rain may linger across west central and southwest Illinois as well as northeast Missouri Tuesday night as the storm system pulls northeast of the area. Much colder air will filter into Missouri and Illinois in the wake of this storm system Wednesday through Friday, with highs in the lower 40s to lower 50s and lows in the upper 20s to middle 30s.
