Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

One more generally mild day will prevail Monday with highs ranging from the upper 40s in parts of northeast Nebraska to the mid and upper 50s over southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Developing low pressure is expected to be over extreme southeast Nebraska by Tuesday morning before moving quickly east during the day. This system will bring widespread rain to the region tonight and Tuesday...and most locations could see over 1/2 to 1 inch. There will probably be a narrow band of accumulating snow Tuesday, most likely west of a Lincoln to Wayne line, and most likely under an inch or two. If temperatures drop a little more than currently expected, snow amounts could be a little heavier and cover a slightly larger area than currently forecast.
