Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

A much colder airmass is expected to move into the area from the north Wednesday evening into Thanksgiving Day. This airmass has its origins in Canada and will bring us most likely the coldest temperatures we have experienced so far this season. Expect lows in the mid to upper 20s Thursday and Friday morning with highs struggling to climb into the low 40s both days. A warming trend is then expected Friday afternoon into the weekend when winds shift to the southwest and warmer air returns.

A Graphical Nowcast also is in effect.
