Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

After a quiet Saturday, severe weather may return to the area by late Sunday into Monday. Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to develop after 3 PM Sunday, with the primary severe weather potential focused between 6 and 11 PM. There is a good chance for wind and hail in any storms that develop late Sunday, particularly in northern Kansas. Local flooding and perhaps even a tornado appears possible as well.
